Send the exact assignment or rubric from your classroom and a custom sample written to it lands in 24 to 48 hours, the first one free. NRP/555 is Phoenix’s Adult and Geriatric Management I course. It opens a two-course sequence, joining theory and clinical hours, on the everyday conditions of adult and geriatric patients, covering the major body systems, coding and billing, evidence-based guidelines for prevention and disease management and the selection of drug therapy. What NRP/555 is really about
NRP/555 is where the earlier foundation courses meet. Pathophysiology, pharmacology and health assessment come together as students diagnose and manage the conditions that fill adult primary care: hypertension, hyperlipidemia, type 2 diabetes, thyroid disease, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, gastroesophageal reflux, low back pain and osteoarthritis. The course adds the geriatric lens, including frailty, falls and the effect of age on drug choice, and it continues the coding and billing work begun in NRP/531.
Assignments are commonly case studies written as management plans or SOAP notes. Each asks for a differential diagnosis, the diagnostic tests needed, a guideline-based treatment plan with drug choice and dose, patient teaching, follow-up and the codes that the visit supports. Clinical hours in adult primary care run alongside.
What NRP/555’s assessments ask for
Graders expect guideline-based care adapted to the person. A strong plan cites the current guideline for the condition, such as blood pressure or diabetes standards of care, and then explains how the patient's age, kidney function, other conditions and goals change the plan. Differentials should be ranked and justified. Codes should match the note, and follow-up intervals should be specific.
Where students lose points in NRP/555
Plans lose points for being generic or incomplete. A hypertension plan that starts a drug without considering the patient's diabetes, kidney disease or race-based guideline recommendations misses the point of the case. Older adult cases lose points when polypharmacy and fall risk go unaddressed. Leaving out the differential or the follow-up is another common loss.

Using a NRP/555 sample the right way
We write the first custom sample without charge, normally within one to two days of your request. Study how it moves from guideline to patient: the recommended first step, then the reasons this patient's plan differs. Carry that pattern into your own cases, and remember that NRP/556 picks up where this course ends.
How these samples are written
Method, in one line: instructions first, structure from the rubric, artifacts exact. Week counts vary by course model; the catch-all row absorbs the difference. Your free request matches what your classroom actually shows.
NRP/555 questions, answered
How do NRP/555 and NRP/556 differ?
They are two parts of one sequence covering adult and geriatric primary care. Sections divide the conditions between them, with more complex and multisystem problems often in the second course.
Which guidelines should I cite?
The current national guidelines for each condition, such as blood pressure guidelines, diabetes standards of care and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease strategy reports.
Is coding graded in this course?
Often yes. Case studies may ask for ICD-10 diagnosis codes and the visit level supported by the documentation.
